Dear Valued Customer, Today we performed an aeration and overseeding service on your lawn. Aeration is the process of mechanically pulling cores of soil out of the ground. Because aeration is so effective at improving soil and turf health, we recommend lawns receive it on an annual basis. Golf courses often perform aerations numerous times throughout the growing season due to its incredible benefits. We specifically perform these services during August through October because soil temperatures and weather conditions are favorable for aerating and establishing new grass by means of overseeding. Seeding August through October provides a sufficient window of growth time to allow the plant to establish a strong root system prior to winter. In addition, it also allows this new grass to go through 2 growing seasons before it has to withstand summer conditions.
