Green Lawn Program - Round Timing

*For The 2025 Season*

Round 1: Early Spring

- Fertilizer: Promotes lawn health to help stimulate spring growth
- Pre-emergent weed control: For control of crabgrass seedlings and prevent crabgrass growth
- Post-emergent broadleaf weed control: Control for all visible weeds

Round 2: Late Spring

- Fertilizer: Helps prepare lawn for the harsh summer condition
- Pre-emergent broadleaf weed control: For control of crabgrass seedlings and prevent crabgrass growth
- Post-emergent weed control: Control for visible weeds
- FREE Surface Insect Control:  Designed to reduce adult chinch bug populations that could cause damage during the summer months

Round 3: Late Spring-Early Summer

- Grub Preventative: one-time visit that guarantees no grub damage to the lawn

Round 4: Early Summer

- Fertilizer: Promotes lawn health, color and vigor
- Post-emergent weed control: Control for visible broadleaf weeds
- FREE Surface Insect Control:  Designed to reduce adult chinch bug populations that could cause damage during summer months

Round 5: Late Summer

- Fertilizer: Feeds grass to help establish color and density
- Post-emergent broadleaf control: Control for active weeds
- Post-emergent grassy weed control: Control for visible crabgrass
- Post-emergent Yellow Nutsedge control: Control visible yellow Nutsedge  

Round 6: Early Fall

- Fertilizer: Provides efficient nutrient intake for healthy turf and improves color
- Post-emergent broadleaf control: Control for all active weeds
- Post-emergent grassy weed control: Control for visible crabgrass
- Post-emergent Yellow Nutsedge control: Control for active yellow Nutsedge  

Round 7: Late Fall

- Fertilizer: Feeds grass to help establish and maintain strong roots
- Post-emergent broadleaf control: Control for active weeds 

Round 8: Early Winter

- Potassium fertilizer: Helps improve turf tolerance to stresses; disease, cold, and traffic
- Post-emergent broadleaf control: Control for all active weeds
