Green Lawn Fertilizing Announces Second Annual Fundraiser to Support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
Fundraiser gives customers the opportunity to help local children and families this holiday season
WEST CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 5, 2026: Green Lawn Fertilizing (GLF) is kicking off its second annual fundraiser benefiting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), giving customers an opportunity to support local children and families this holiday season. Throughout the fall, GLF will donate $25 to CHOP for every customer who prepays for their 2027 lawn care services, building on the $100,000 raised through last year's campaign.
This year, GLF is working with the Diminick family to help share the personal impact of CHOP's care. Corey Diminick is a current CHOP patient receiving treatment for Kawasaki disease. He and his family are sharing their story to show the meaningful impact CHOP has had on their lives and the lives of countless other families. 
The collaboration began during last year's fundraiser, when GLF presented a $100,000 donation to CHOP alongside Corey and his family at the company's annual kickoff meeting. The presentation marked the beginning of an ongoing relationship between the family and GLF, one that continues through this year's campaign. 
"Through this fundraiser, Green Lawn is giving hope to lots of other families and kids like Corey," said Shannon Diminick, Corey's mother. “We hope sharing his story provides a tangible example of how funding can make an impact.”
GLF's commitment to CHOP extends beyond its annual prepay fundraiser. The company also supports the hospital through its annual customer referral campaign, participation in the I Heart CHOP Run & Walk, volunteer efforts at CHOP's Community Care Challenge, and multiple visits to the Wawa Coffee and Care Cart.
