How We Give Back
A Culture of Care — Beyond the Lawn
At the heart of everything we do is people. From our team to our larger community, we’re honored to invest in the individuals and causes that make our community strong. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who’ve helped us grow and thrive.
Every year, each of our senior leaders organizes a volunteer project that’s open to all employees. From packing boxes at the Chester County Food Bank to building homes with Habitat for Humanity, these events offer meaningful ways for our team to give back throughout the year.
In addition to thousands of hours of hands-on service, we proudly sponsor dozens of local organizations that strengthen our communities, donating over $500,000 in the last 5 years.

About Our Community Partnerships

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
Our partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is extremely close to our hearts. Many of our team members have experienced CHOP’s care firsthand through their children and we’re dedicated to giving back as much as we can.
In addition to volunteering onsite, we’ve pledged $100,000 to help fund life-saving research, family support programs, and critical care.
We’re also excited to share our newest initiative in support of CHOP, our referral program. When you refer a friend or neighbor to Green Lawn Fertilizing, we’ll donate $25 to CHOP in your name.
Habitat for Humanity
For the past several years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with Habitat for Humanity by sending a team to support their work right here in the Greater Philadelphia area. Whether it’s building home additions, completing yard work, or pitching in wherever help is needed, we’re honored to be a part of it. Check out a few stories from our team members themselves!
Chester County Food Bank
Providing nearly 4 million meals annually, Chester County Food Bank is an essential pillar in our community. We’re honored to serve them by sending out multiple teams a year to pack and sort food at their warehouse.
In addition to regular volunteer opportunities, each year students in our Leadership Development Program spend a day helping out at Two Gander Farm, a produce farm that supplies the food bank. Check out some highlights!
